TRANSFORMASI NOVEL PEREMPUAN BERKALUNG SORBAN KE DALAM FILM PEREMPUAN BERKALUNG SORBAN (KAJIAN INTERTEKSTUALITAS)

Abstract: This research aims to expose transformation from novel to film, which covers (1) transformation of plot (2) transformation of characterization, and (3) implementation of hypogram which occur in that transformation. This research uses qualitative approach. The related theories used in this research are the concept of novel transformation into film, intertextuality, structural theory, and semiotics theory. The sources of data used are the novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban and the movie Perempuan Berkalung Sorban. The result of the analysis In relation to the purpose (1), the result of the transformation shows that there are three forms of transformation that occur on the plot. The first transformation is there added event in the form of new scenes in the movie. The second transformation is there are events in the novel that are excluded in the movie. The third transformation is transforming what are already in the novel into the ones included in the novel. The result of the research (2), the transformation of characterization from the novel into the movie shows changes. The result of the research (3), the implementation of hypogram in transformation obtains the result of twenty-five hypogram transformed in the movie. Based on the analysis in the discussion, the types of transformation that occurs are: seven excerpts, three expansions, nine modifications, four combinations of excerpt and modification, and two combinations of expansion and modification. There is no transformation of conversion.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekspos transformasi dari novel ke film, yang meliputi (1) transformasi dari plot (2) transformasi karakterisasi, dan (3) pelaksanaan hypogram yang terjadi dalam transformasi itu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teori-teori terkait yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep transformasi novel ke film, intertextuality, teori struktural, dan teori semiotika. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah novel Perempuan Berkalung sorban dan film Perempuan Berkalung sorban. Hasil analisis Dalam kaitannya dengan tujuan (1), hasil transformasi menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga bentuk transformasi yang terjadi pada plot. Transformasi pertama adalah ada acara ditambahkan dalam bentuk adegan baru dalam film. Transformasi kedua adalah ada acara di novel yang dikecualikan dalam film. Transformasi ketiga adalah transformasi apa yang sudah di novel ke yang termasuk dalam novel ini. Hasil penelitian (2), transformasi karakterisasi dari novel ke film menunjukkan perubahan. Hasil penelitian (3), pelaksanaan hypogram dalam transformasi memperoleh hasil dua puluh lima hypogram berubah di film. Berdasarkan analisis dalam diskusi, jenis transformasi yang terjadi adalah: tujuh kutipan, tiga ekspansi, sembilan modifikasi, empat kombinasi kutipan dan modifikasi, dan dua kombinasi ekspansi dan modifikasi. Tidak ada transformasi konversi.
